Meanwhile, a couple of you have seen this one in the flesh - I'm reworking it from the ground up for lighting and terrain/gameplay purposes, but keeping the tower in this picture, and the general autumnal atmosphere

Have you tried out Unity probuilder? Is that question aimed at me, or just a general question? I'll answer anyway, lol. Yeah, I tried it a few years ago, and really liked it. I just figured that if I'm going to invest some time into learning to use an engine for creating maps, there's probably more benefit to learning Unreal. I keep gravitating back to forge though, just because of how fast and simple it is to create and modify blockouts. Not sure if that's just because I'm more familiar with it... I should probably just cut myself off of it and really commit to doing stuff in Unreal. But yeah, Probuilder is fantastic for creating rough levels, and if it was available in Unreal instead of Unity, I'd probably be using it right now.

Yeah I was trying to 'reply' to one of the scenes you posted a picture of. Now that i have a decent computer i'll have to download unreal as well, i want to at least be familiar with all the different tools devs use

This is a dual atrium map I'm working on. Will most likely end up being 4v4, but we'll see.

Getting closer, almost no lighting and the atmosphere isn't far off Thanks for reminding me how much I suck at forge.
