Well howdy do friends. The 19th week of 19th year of the 21st century is complete. It's time to look back at the happenings on Next Level Design since the 18th week of the 19th year of the 21st century. Since I've already talked enough about numbers, let's talk about something far more interesting to us...let's talk 'levels'. We have plenty of them to share. Maps
samuel52h posted a 3v3 Halo 5 level that plays numerous gametypes. Download link and many more pictures can be found in the thread.
Next Level Design Challenge: 1 Hour Mapping
Submissions continue to come in for the 1 Hour Mapping Challenge. Here are the most recent:
icyhotspartin shows off a 1v1 level, along with the original sketches that it was based upon.
cameron displays his initial 1 hour map, designed for CS:GO, along with later iterations.
yoder offered up a Quake singleplayer map 'Prisoner of Hours', the result of a simultaneously running 1 Hour Mapping event from HERE.
This second submission from yoder is an open air map with gondolas, inspired by Halo 2's "Delta Halo" mission.
