I removed Disconnect and installed Ublock Origin. It's supposidly better. We'll see how that goes. Still got adblock plus on, which has never really caused me any grief.

What is that supposed to catch that Adblock Plus doesn't? I've just been using Adblock Plus for a very long time, and it VERY rarely misses ads or popups. Are you trying to block something else?

Here's a good demonstration of the impact of "Modern Aiming": That's sick, have to try it out!
On a German gaming news site I've seen something about a "big announcement" coming this March for MCC. Hopefully, it's the custom browser.

I hope it's not that, actually. A custom browser is something we've known about for quite a while now. It would be pretty anticlimactic to have that be their big announcement. More likely to me would be the implementation of Halo: Reach, Custom Edition integration (including the level editor), PC Release (this is probably the most likely), or a combination of these.

Oh yeah, everyone is saying it might be Reach, but if I don't have my original stats on MCC, I'll still play the original. lol
How would they even do it? "Attach" a remastered version of Reach to the MCC or just add a bunch of maps to the existing playlists? I would prefer the first, but it's probably too difficult to do and unwanted.

Although this could be something to do with Infinite, my money is still on MCC coming to PC. It's kind of in 343's best interest to bring Halo back to PC. They want to sell their product on more platforms and Halo has proven to have plenty of interest on PC. I don't see much point in Having Halo 1,2, 6 on PC but not the rest. The fact that the MCC is running on the Xbone OS which is basically WIndows 10 nude edition, means that most of the work is going to be interface. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered K&M support on the Xbone before they did a full launch on PC. I'll be playing Halo on Console because that's how I role but I hope they offer advanced Forging options on the PC which is also unlocked when using K&M on the Xbone. I would consider switching over to the PC to Forge but I would prefer to let my PC slowly turn into Media/internet Box that can play many games on medium. Just give me a mobile Ryzen 5/7 chip in WIndows Micro box with 12-16 gigs of ram and I'll do fine. I really don't want to buy a laptop for this chip when all I need is something a fraction of that size. ARRRG AMD, if U build it I will cum.

The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC " The PC version of Halo: MCC will come in stages, with each game released individually, in chronological order, rather than all of them together in one big bundle. That means Halo: Reach will be first, followed by Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4. 343 Industries said that staggered scheduled will enable it to ensure that each game is "right"—emphasis theirs—with PC-standard features including FOV sliders, 4K resolution and ultrawide monitor support, adjustable framerates, and remappable keys. Beyond their initial launch, the games will "evolve and grow over time with community input," Microsoft said." Source: www.pcgamer.com/halo-the-master-chief-collection-is-coming-to-pc/

I'd say called it but it would have been more surprising if they didn't add it. Reach was again more of a question of when, over if. Still nice to have this all coming together. I'm glad they choose to make the individual games available when each is ready. It'll get people playing sooner as well as let each games unique experience shine for a bit before being replaced. Every one of those games shines in it's own way, even if it's to a lesser degree in Halo 4.
Do you think someone at 343 will dare to bring split screen to Halo 4 multiplayer and possible co-op, or will they continue to act like it couldn't possibly be done?

From what they've said about the importance of split screen over the last couple of years, I'd guess that they'll put it in if it doesn't require an unreasonable amount of time or money, or end up breaking something else. Based upon that criteria, I'm guessing it's unlikely.

Pretty comprehensive update on the status of the Halo: Reach implementation in The Master Chief Collection was published today. I'm not even going to attempt to summarize it, but there's a LOT of good and promising news in the article. Check it out here - www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/mcc-development-update-may-2019
