If the emissive still seems to bright you can set it to zero and use an invisible light with it. I'm using emmisives for the screen effect and glare. If I tone it down then I'll still have the screen blotches, so it's not that big of a deal. I just hope that the daMN VINES QUIT FRICKIN UP ANYMORE Anyways, Contagion still needs testing alongside a small rework of Gerneric UNSC #2048, so if anyone is interested in helping with that it'd be deeply appreciated. If not I'll work on the aesthetics.

Friggin' ivy!! I like the way the map is coming together, so I hope you'll find a reasonable solution for it. And I'll confirm what the others have said about emissives. They've seemed to look best with a really low setting and an invisible light.

thanks, yeah i would say the number 1 title for 1v1 is between penrose and keep up... one thing about penrose that holds it back is all the vertical overlap, it can create stalemates pretty often. Keep up is also really good but fighting your way out of bottom spawn is a little too extraneous and could be easily fixed

Soldat Du Christ, I would like you to make your middle platform on penrose less bumpy so there isn't a chance my jump is thrown off when I try to make a play using it. I have played box a few times on this map and when that overlap encounter happened or after you get a kill it is too inconsistent of a jump to take advantage because it throws you off sometimes if you land on it wrong and jump quickly after landing. Something to look into that might solve your overlap problem is give players better options for changing cross map angles. Not sure what would be best because I haven't played the map enough to really know in this circumstance, but I have made maps with similar styles of gameplay and that sort of stuff typically alleviated those sort of issues. Also, have made a few maps with heavy overlap and what helped them was making sure the player couldn't watch all the approaches. Hope this is helpful. I enjoyed the map quite a bit.

Yo, I never get a notification of threads I bookmarked, anyone else? Yep. As I mentioned in the Bugs thread, Bookmarks seem to be useless. I've tried multiple notifications settings, and none of them have worked so far. I'll let you know if I find a fix. I've tried searching to see if other forums have this issue. Pretty much the only results I get back are a link to the Proboards help guide, which doesn't tell me anything that's not already obvious. I'm about ready to give up on the bookmarking system.

Does anyone have tips on making a map both chroma "box"ed and and get the canvas skybox to show through holes on the map? The outside needs to be well lit so that the map's lighting makes sense.

Very cool map! I like the layout at first glance. Personally, I think the skylight in the main room looks best with a much lower setting for the emissive. A setting of 1 looked best to me. As soon as it get's higher than 15, it starts looking like artificial light. My 2 cents... @ buddy jumps, Bookmarks work if you set it up to get email notifications. I set it to get instant notification via email. I got an email right away when Kantalope posted in this thread. Seems like it's just the forum notifications that aren't working.

I would need to see how much of it you want open but you can do it to a certain degree. A 2v2 map I am almost done with has opening in it to let the natural lighting through a spot. You basically chroma it so the natural lighting will only hit the spot you are trying to let it hit. So if it is a hole in the top like Largerfiends edit of it you can definitely get that with the right skybox.
