6. Before Submitting your map, you’ll want to select an image that will serve as the thread icon (this will be the first image other members see of your map). There are 2 ways to select an icon.
a. Utilize the Insert Image icon. This is the easiest and most reliable way to insert images into your post.
As you’re inserting images in your post, you can select which image you want to be your thread icon by checking the box that says “Make this the thread icon”
b. The second method of selecting a thread icon can be done at any time during the creation of your thread.
Click on the Set Icon button and insert the link of the image you want used, and then click on the Add Thread Image button.
After using one of these 2 methods, you’ll see the thread icon has replace the Set Icon button.
If you’re not happy with your selection, you can change the image by clicking on the dropdown arrow and selecting “Enter an image URL”.
Note: This option should also be available when editing your post after it’s been submitted
7. Click on the gear dropdown in the top right corner and select Labels. Choose which game your map is built for.
8. Your map is ready to step out into the world and be seen! Click on the Create Thread button.
9. Your map is now free in the wild, but not totally freed from your grip. After submitting your map, you’ll be routed directly to the newly created thread.
Review to verify that everything is to your liking. If you find any errors, now or in the future, you can utilize the Edit button to make corrections.
10. Now that your map is submitted, here’s what you should see:
When looking at the Maps Forum, you’ll see the map icon on the left side, followed by the map name, and label designating which game it’s for
If you hover over the icons on this screen, you’ll view the image at its full size
Also, your new map will populate into the New Maps sidebar that’s visible on the left side of the Main Forum

{--> Tagging}
There are 2 ways to ‘tag’ other members of the forum.
The first, and most familiar way is to simply type the @ symbol, follow by the username of the person you want to tag.
The second way can only be done within a forum thread. At the top left of the posting area you’ll see a series of buttons. By clicking on these buttons, you’ll automatically tag the person, or group of people associated with them. The Staff, Admin, and All button will always appear here. In addition, you’ll see the names of anyone who has posted within the thread.
When a person is ‘tagged’, they’ll receive a notification that looks like this:
When that notification is clicked on, it will bring the person to their Profile page, where they’ll see this:
Finally, clicking on this notification will bring them to this screen, where they’ll see who tagged them, and in which thread:
One final note on ‘Tagging’ – By clicking on the Edit Profile button on your profile page, and then clicking on the Notifications tab, you can dictate how you want to be notified when you are tagged.
